In the month of October, a place called Baba Ka Dhaba garnered a lot of fame because of YouTuber Gaurav Wasan. He put up a video showing an elderly couple running an eatery in South Delhi’s Malviya Nagar. They were struggling to mend their ends meet but the viral video helped the elderly couple gain monitory help. Many people across the country including celebrities donated some amount of money so that they can help the elderly couple. However, in a recent development, the elderly couple running the Dhaba got duped by Gaurav Wasan. Now, actor R Madhavan has reacted to the Baba Ka Dhaba fraud row by taking to his Twitter.

According to the reports, Kanta Prasad, the elderly owner of Baba Ka Dhaba in South Delhi, has filed an FIR against YouTuber Gaurav.

In the complaint, Kant has accused Gaurav of misappropriation of the funds. Because it were raised to help him run the shop.

Speaking of the viral Baba Ka Dhaba video, the owner Kanta Prasad was seen shedding tears due to the lack of customers at his eatery.

The video went viral in no time and hence, the elderly couple received help from across the globe. Several people donated money to help the elderly couple in their hard times.

However, in recent updates, it is believed that YouTuber Gaurav Wasan duped the couple. Apparently, he didn’t give them the full amount of money that he received from the donations. Following the same, Kanta Prasad filed a complaint.

Taking to his Twitter handle, R Madhavan reacted to the Baba Ka Dhaba fraud row. The RHTDM actor tweeted, “Elderly owner of Baba ka Dhaba duped in Delhi? Now, this is the kind of thing that gives ppl a reason not to do good. Unacceptable. Now if this fraud couple is caught and punished ..FAITH will be restored .. @DelhiPolice full faith in you.”

Reportedly, the Delhi Police starting a probe against Gaurav Wasan after Kanta Prasad’s accusation. They are yet to arrive at a conclusion.
