R. Madhavan’s all praise for Kangana Ranaut: “She Is Not A Pushover Or Cliche Heroine”

In a recent interview, R. Madhavan praised his Tanu Weds Manu co-star Kangana Ranaut for bringing strength to the screen.

One of the most popular actors in the entertainment industry who has zero haters and a million fans is none other than R. Madhavan. While some are infatuated with his acting prowess, others are enthralled by his parenting philosophy, and some people respect his clear consumption. The actor has given many memorable movies, including Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein, Vikram Vedha, Dil Vil Pyar Vyar, and 3 Idiots, and one of them is Tanu Weds Manu. His pairing with Kangana Ranaut is praiseworthy in both films. Recently, the actor has talked about strong women in his life, and Kangana is also one of them.

In a conversation with Rohan Dua, the Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein actor said that the female leads in his films are quite strong. Madhavan has said that he considered himself lucky because he got to grow up with his mother, who worked for 30 years in a bank in Bihar, which is an example of a strong woman. He praised women and said that they are the strongest species, and they’re pretty sure that if we talk to our grandparents, we can see that in today’s time, on the contrary, they trust more in our grandmothers.

Speaking about his co-star Kangana Ranaut, he praised her in the same interview. The actor said that it is indeed a privilege to work with a strong woman like Kangana. He went on to say that these powerful women are not the stereotypical movie heroes, pushovers, or ladies who go to movies and dance and get slammed by men. He said that he would never do such films, and it is the folly of those who involve themselves in such films.

He praised Kangana for bringing strength to the screen due to her personal achievements and experience and called her an extraordinary actor who brings so much to the roles that she plays.
