Fans of Pushpa 2: The Rule are eagerly waiting for its OTT release after Netflix teased its arrival in the “Coming Soon” section, only to pull back the announcement shortly after. Initially set for January 30, 2025 the release date now stands as “coming soon”. The Allu Arjun-starrer action-packed film will be available in its original language Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam but surprisingly there’s no mention of Hindi version despite making the maximum collection from Hindi viewers, this has left fans speculating. The confirmed runtime for the Netflix version includes 23 additional minutes, raising the excitement even higher!
The theatrical version of Sukumar’s directorial film premiered on December 5, 2024 with a runtime of 200 minutes. It was later re-released on January 17, 2025 with adding extra 20 minutes calling it as a “reloaded version”. Now, Netflix’s extended cut however will offer an exclusive runtime of 223 minutes, making it a must-watch even for those who caught it in theatres. Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2: The Rule is the sequel to the 2021 blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise and stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in pivotal roles.

Reecntly, Netflix created buzz by sharing a poster on X (formerly Twitter) that read “The man. The myth. The brAAnd. Pushpa’s rule is about to begin! Watch Pushpa 2 – Reloaded Version with 23 minutes of extra footage on Netflix, coming soon in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam & Kannada!” The lack of an official Hindi version has surprised many, despite giving the film’s massive pan-Indian appeal.

The movie has been a record-breaking success, raking in ₹1,739.7 crore worldwide collecting ₹739 crore in Hindi version alone, cementing Allu Arjun’s place among Indian cinema’s icons. With Netflix acquiring the digital rights for ₹275 crore, expectations for Pushpa 2 OTT streaming performance are high. Fans are now eagerly awaiting updates, hoping Netflix provides clarity on the official release date and Hindi version soon or maybe it might release on another streaming platform, the official details are awaited.
