Everybody’s praising our Desi Girl for bagging a role in Hollywood’s popular Franchise ‘The Matrix’. Priyanka plays the role of elder Sati in its fourth instalment called ‘The Matrix Resurrections’. The film has already been released in the USA and Priyanka is being appreciated for her role.
However, do you know that Priyanka isn’t the only Indian actor to feature in the film? Actor Purab Kohli is also a part of the film. He is known for Hindi films like Rock On, Woh Lamhe and Shaadi Ke Side Effects. He has also been a part of films like Airlift and Mission Mangal.
Purab Kohli plays the role of a Game developer in ‘The Matrix Resurrections’. He is seen sharing screen space with the film’s lead actor Keanu Reeves.
Speaking to a leading news channel, Purab said, “I never thought I could be a part of the ‘Matrix’ franchise. This is such a big film, and you are part of it.”
Interestingly, Purab didn’t even have to audition for his role since he had already worked with director Lana Wachowski earlier in Sense8. He told, “I didn’t audition for ‘Matrix’ because I had previously worked with Lana on ‘Sense 8,’ for which I had previously auditioned and then done a reading before being cast. That was the most difficult one. But once Lana believed in my ability to act, I believe it was a true honour that she chose me for the role in ‘Matrix’.”
