Met Gala is all set to make its 2022 comeback on 2nd May(3 May IST), in New York City at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. As we wait for the trendiest night, here’s a list of all the Indian celebrities who made their walk down the Met Gala red carpet-
- Priyanka Chopra:
Desi girl Priyanka Chopra, who recently made her appearance in the Hollywood film ‘Matrix Ressurections’ made her Met Gala debut back in 2017 wearing a custom Ralph Lauren thigh-high slit evening gown with a popped collar. The actress walked the carpet with Nick Jonas who is now her husband. The actress then reappeared in 2018 wearing a Ralph Lauren velvet gown accessorized with a bejewelled hood. In 2019, She made an appearance with her husband, Nick Jonas. Styled by friend Mimi Cuttrell, Priyanka wore an avant-garde silver gown by Dior.
2. Deepika Padukone:
Bollywood’s most adored diva, Deepika Padukone made her Met Gala debut in 2017 donning a white dress by Tommy Hilfiger and jewelry by Fred Leighton. In 2018, the actress made her walk in a red hot sultry atelier gown by Prabal Gurung. Opting for pearl and diamond Tasaki earrings and a matching statement ring. With bold, red lips and plastered hair. In 2019, the actress wore a medium pink gown trailed behind Padukone as she strutted on the event’s matching pink carpet. Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone is rumored to be attending the Met Gala 2022 in a Louis Vuitton outfit.

3. Isha Ambani:
Mukesh Ambani’s daughter, Isha Ambani also entered the list marking her Met Gala debut in the year 2017, adorning a grand Christian Dior olive green and beige gown. Loose, long locks, and minimal makeup, setting a minimalistic trend of her own in her applique attire with pearls and leaves on it. She later reappeared in 2019 wearing a lavender couture gown with embroidered feathers and beadwork.
4. Natasha Poonawalla:
Natasha Poonawalla, wife of Serum Institute head Adar Poonawalla, walked the Red carpet for the first time in 2018. She wore a pink flowy gown with a wine color ribbon detaining around her bust and waist. In 2019, She wore a crystal-embellished mini dress with a detachable icy-blue skirt.

5. Suddha Reddy:
Suddha Reddy has been the only Indian celebrity to walk the Met Gala red carpet in 2021. Sudha Reddy, the wife of Hyderabad-based billionaire businessman Megha Krishna Reddy, made her red carpet debut for the much-awaited fashion night of the year, the MET Gala, in a haute couture gown by ace designer duo Falguni and Shane Peacock.
