Priyanka Chopra’s cousin Meera Chopra is receiving criticism for her latest tweet. Meera, who is also an actor, spoke on the recent murder case of a 16-year-old girl in Delhi that has shocked the entire nation. A horrifying CCTV footage from Shahbad dairy area of Delhi is being circulated online where 20-year-old Sahil Sarfaraz stabs his girlfriend Sakshi 22 times. It is reported to be a case of “love jihad” where Sahil trapped the Hindu girl into a relationship by posing himself as a Hindu boy. He allegedly also tied kalawa in his hand to hide his real identity and portray himself as a Hindu.
Reacting to this, she tweeted, “This is a sign that humanity is dead. I just cant believe that people walking by didnt even try to stop this crime. This boy is indeed a murderer but what abt these people who kept watching him doing it??”

In another tweet, Meera intentionally pointed out the religion of the accused. She tweeted, “Naam kya tha? Mohammad sahil sarfaraz!!!”

Her alleged “anti-muslim” tweet isn’t settling well with other Internet users. Meera was called out and smalled for her tweet. Check out a few replies:
