But did you know in a recent interview with Lehren Retro Pratik revealed that their bond goes beyond just acting; sharing how their friendship off-screen is equally strong. Pratik Gandhi Reveals How He and Divyenndu Connected Instantly

During the interview, Pratik shared how he was first approach for Kunal Khemu’s directorial Madgaon Express before signing Amazon Prime Video’s Agni. However, despite being offered Madgaon Express first, they ended up shooting for Agni before Madgaon Express was released.

Recalling their first meeting, Pratik revealed that they met on the sets of Agni, where their first scene together was an intense one where they didn’t even have to look at each other. Yet, despite this they instantly clicked. He explained, “Without looking at each other, we were supposed to perform the scene, but I think some people you just connect with naturally. It’s a bond that happens on its own.”

Chemistry in Agni vs. Madgaon Express

Pratik Gandhi further elaborated on how their connection helped shape their performances in both films. He described their equation in Agni as “a fire chemistry, where there’s a bit of enmity, tension and underlying friction.” In contrast, their bond in Madgaon Express is completely different, bringing out a fun and humorous side to their pairing. Further highlighting the importance of their off-screen relationship, Pratik expressed how lucky he feels to have found a genuine friend in the industry. “It’s a blessing to have that kind of friendship off-screen as well with a co-actor,” he said.

In the same interview, apart from their professional collaborations, Pratik also went on to reveal that they regularly stay in touch, meet up and discuss things beyond work. Madgaon Express is a dark comedy film directed by Kunal Khemu, which also featured Avinash Tiwary alongside Pratik Gandhi and Divyenndu Sharma. The film, which hit theaters on March 22, 2024 follows three childhood friends on a trip to Goa that goes hilariously off track.

Meanwhile, Agni was premiered on December 6, 2024 on Amazon Prime Video, it is a gripping Bollywood drama about a firefighter and his brother-in-law a policeman, who team up to investigate mysterious fires in Mumbai. Directed by Rahul Dholakia, the film explores intense emotions and relationships.
