Project K’s Release Date: Prabhas and Deepika Padukone’s most awaited and highly anticipated sci-fi thriller ‘Project K’ has finally got a release date. The film will finally arrive in cinema on January 12, 2024, on the occasion of Sankranthi.
Stars of the film announced the release date with a first poster of the film. Sharing the poster they wrote, “??-?-?? ?? ??! #????????. Happy Mahashivratri. #Prabhas @SrBachchan @deepikapadukone @nagashwin7 @VyjayanthiFilms. (sic)”
The poster immediately catches your attention with some intriguing details. The poster carries a caption ‘The World is Waiting’. There is a huge hand lying on the deserted place. Three men in soldiers uniform are aiming at the hand with snipper guns. In the background we see glimpses of a city laying in ruins. The makers haven’t made any official announcement about the film’s plot yet, but looking at the poster, it seems that the film is set in a post-apocalyptic world.
About Project K: Along with Deepika and Prabhas, Project K also stars Amitabh Bachchan and several other popular actors and actress from Hindi as well as other regional industries. The film is being helmed by Nag Ashwin who is known for his directorial ventures such as Yevade Subramanyam (2015) and Mahanati (2018).
Project K was officially announced in February 2020, but it took a long time to begin the shoot as the world Nag Ashwin hoped to build required newly designed equipments. The film finally went on floors in July 2021. Project K is being shot in Telugu and Hindi simultaneously and will release in multiple languages across the world.
