Post the official announcement of the Manikarnika franchise's next installment titled, Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda, Kangana gets accused by book author for blatantly violating rights citing that the film's storyline and his book's story is entirely the same in his recent interview with a leading newspaper publication.

The sequel to the superhit patriotic and historical period drama film Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi (2019), is titled as Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda. This amazing scoop of the day just got controversial for post Manikarnika sequel news, Kangana accused for violating rights.

This is not a new thing for Bollywood films nowadays as we even witnessed same during Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat (2018), But now recently post Manikarnika sequel news, Kangana accused for violating rights.

After the official announcement of Manikarnika franchise’s next installment titled Manikarnika: Legend Of Didda, a book author has placed serious allegations thereby accusing Bollywood actress Kangana for ‘blatantly violating rights’.

The quintessential fashionista and Bollywood diva Kangana Ranaut recently made the official announcement of her 2019’s hit historical fiction period costume drama film Manikarnika’s sequel titled Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda. After this announcement, book author Ashish Kaul who wrote the novel Didda-Kashmir Ki Yodha Rani was completely baffled and in state of surprise. Now the author has accused Kangana of ‘blatantly violating rights’.

In his recent interview with a leading Indian newspaper publication, the book author Ashish Kaul said, “Is it believable by any stretch of imagination that a story and a book is being usurped by a renowned actor-turned-social activist?”.

The author furthermore also went on to add, “She has blatantly violated my sole rights; it is illegal and an absolute violation of the IPR and copyright laws of the same country that she swears by. I find it so brazen and hideous and I am still inclined to believe that Kangana has been misguided”.

The report also clearly mentioned about how only he has the main and solitary copyright to the biography of Queen Didda. It also asserted about how Ashish had earlier also went on and approached Kangana for writing the foreword to the hindi version of this book and also had sent a email for the same to Kangana on 11th September 2020 where he also cleared the facts about how the whole life story of Queen Didda has been added in the same way just like his book has. As of now, we have to wait and see if Kangana or her sister Rangoli respond to it or not.

Meanwhile, this is officially out now that Kangana is getting ready and gearing up for the sequel of Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi with film maker Kamal Jain wherein they have already ended up locking the script for the same. While Kangana is getting ready, the book author Ashish has also been in talks with a film maker for the film adaptation of his book.

Speaking about the much awaited sequel of the Manikarnika franchise, This film would be primarily revolving around the life of Queen Didda along with her folklores, who is also referred to as the Cleopatra of Kashmir who ruled the heaven of India, Kashmir valley for almost 4 to 5 decades in between the 10th and 11th century.
