Actor and model Poonam Pandey has been making frequent appearances in top headlines this month. She first surprised everyone with her wedding pictures on September 10. Poonam then shocked everyone when she got her husband arrested just 13 days after their wedding. And now, she is patching things up.
Poonam Pandey Says Her Husband Molested Her:
Last week, she filed a police complaint against her husband Sam in South Goa and he was arrested immediately. She alleged that he assaulted and molested her. While giving an interview to a news tabloid, she told, “Sam and I had an argument, which escalated, and he began hitting me. He choked me and I thought I was going to die. Sam punched me in my face, pulled me by my hair, and banged my head against the corner of the bed. He knelt on my body, pinned me down and assaulted me. Somehow, I managed to break free and bolted out of the room. The hotel staff called the cops, who took him away. I filed a complaint against him.”

Poonam also told that it didn’t happen for the first time and that her husband has been possessive and violent since the beginning. She said, “I put up with the abusive relationship because I believed that we loved each other. I always painted a rosy picture projecting us as a perfect couple. His anger stemmed from his possessiveness and insecurity. We got married hoping that things would get better. Unfortunately, it didn’t turn out to be a wise decision. I am the perfect example of ‘love is blind’.”

Are they getting back together?
After getting her husband arrested, Poonam hinted that she will be ending her marriage with Sam Bombay. However, she has now changed her mind. Poonam withdrew the case and said that they are getting back together. Poonam told in an interview, “We are back together. We both love each other too much. We are madly in love. And, which marriage does not have its ups and downs?”
The couple will be soon coming back to Mumbai from Goa after having their not-so-perfect honeymoon.
