Police Gives Update On Raj Kundra Case

DCP Milind Bharambe addresses the media on Raj Kundra case.

Businessman Raj Kundra was taken into custody after strong evidences were found against him that proved his connection with the creation and distribution of pornographic content. DCP Milind Bharambe addressed the media and gave an update on Raj Kundra case. He told them that they found porn clips and other related evidence from his office. About 9 people have been arrested in the case so far. It is alleged that Raj Kundra and his associates used to force struggling women actors to feature in porn films. They lured these women by promising good roles in short films or web series and eventually pushed them into porn films.

DCP Milind told that the porn videos were then uploaded on a mobile app called Hotshots which was available on Google Play Store and Apple Store. However, both Google and Apple took it down after the matter came to light.

The police have also urged other ‘victims’ in the case to come forward and register their complaints. Talking about Shilpa Shetty’s role in the Raj Kundra case, the police said, “We have not been able to any find any active role (of Shilpa Shetty) yet. We are investigating. We’ll appeal to the victims to come forward and contact the Crime Branch Mumbai. We’ll take appropriate action.”
