Many much-awaited and highly anticipated films will be released this year in November. From Katrina Kaif’s Phone Bhoot to Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s Yashoda and Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya, there is a whole interesting lineup of films awaiting release in the upcoming month. So without further ado let’s take a look at the top 7 films which will release in November 2022-
- Phone Bhoot- 4th November
First up is Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Ishaan Khatter’s much-anticipated horror-comedy film Phone Bhoot which will hit the theatres on 4th November. The Gurmmeet Singh’s directorial will feature Katrina Kaif as a “ghost” while Siddhant and Ishaan will be seen as “ghostbusters”. Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khattar, and Siddhant Chaturvedi’s film will be the second horror-comedy film this year after Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.
2. Double XL- 4th November
Huma Qureshi and Sonakshi Sinha starrer Double XL which was earlier slated for a theatrical release on 14 October alongside Ayushmann Khurrana’s Doctor G and Parineeti Chopra’s Code Name Tiranga will now release on 4 November with Katrina Kaif starrer Phone Bhoot. Double XL is a comedy-drama film that focuses on the subject of body weight. The story talks about subjects like obsession with body weight and female body image issues.
3. Mili- 4th November
Another film that will give a straight competition to both Phone Bhoot and Double XL is Janhvi Kapoor starrer Mili. The film will feature the father-daughter duo Boney Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor who will be seen collaborating for the first for a movie. Mili is a remake of the Malayalam film Helen. Apart from Boney-Janhvi Kapoor the film also stars Sunny Kaushal and Manoj Pahwa.
4. Yashoda- 11th November
Yashoda is an upcoming Indian science fiction thriller film starring Unni Mukundan and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in titular roles. Directed by Hari–Harish and produced by Sridevi Movies the film will star Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead role.
5. Uunchai- 11th November
Uunchai is an upcoming family drama film starring Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, and Parineeti Chopra in the lead role. Uunchai is a unique story of three old friends who embarks upon a journey to trek to the mountains to fulfill the last wish of their friend. While Parineeti will be seen playing their tour guide. The film will get a theatrical release on 11th November.
6. Drishyam 2- 18th November
Drishyam 2 is a sequel to Drishyam which was released in 2015. Both the parts featuring Ajay Devgn are remakes of the Malayalam film of the same name. The story will continue from where it was left in the first part. Ajay will be seen playing Vijay Salgaonkar whose family came to the center of the chaos after he murders a cop’s son. While Tabu will be seen essaying the role of a cop who wants to avenge the murder of her son. Apart from the old cast Akshaye Khanna will also be seen in the sequel now. The will is set to hit the theatres on 18th November.
7. Bhediya- 25th November
Last but surely not least is Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon’s horror-comedy film Bhediya. Amar Kaushik’s directorial Bhediya is based on a story of a man named Bhaskar who gets bitten by a wolf and later starts transforming into a fully grown wolf. During the quest to find the answer behind the change, Bhaskar’s friends encounter interesting and entertaining situations. The horror comedy is set to release on 25th November.
