Shah Rukh Khan made his comeback to the big screen after four years and has already brought storms worldwide. However, despite Twitter Boycott and other controversies, Pathaan is breaking several records at the box office. Recently, Pathaan has grossed over ₹900 crores at the global box office globally.
Yash Raj Films has shared a press note revealing Pathaan’s Box Office collection. YRF reports state that the Siddharth Anand directorial raised ₹5.90 crores in India on its third Friday. However, according to the reports, Pathaan has grossed an incredible ₹901 crores at the box office, with ₹558.40 crores at domestic and ₹342.60 crores in the oversea market. YRF also revealed that Pathaan has become the highest-grossing Hindi film worldwide in the history of Hindi cinema.
For the unversed, Pathaan follows Shah Rukh Khan who comes out of exile to stop the terrorist group Outfit X from launching an attack on India. The action thriller features an ensemble cast of Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia, and Ashutosh Rana. Pathaan also has a thrilling cameo of Salman Khan. Yash Raj’s latest film was released in theatres on January 25. Pathaan runtime is 2h 26m.
