Bollywood film producer Parag Sanghvi was arrested by Mumbai Police’s Economic Offences Wing (EOW) on Monday. The arrest was made in connection with a fraud case. A Mumbai Police official has informed that the court has sent Sanghvi to the custody of EOW till December 25. More details on the case are awaited.
Parag Sanghvi has produced films like Partner, Bhoot Returns and The Attacks of 26/11. He is the CEO of Alumbra Entertainment & Lotus Film company. He is also the former M.D. of media company K. Sera Sera (now called KSS Limited), known for financing and distributing films.
Parag had co-produced the 2007 Hindi comedy film ‘Partner’ along with Sohail Khan. The film stars Salman Khan, Govinda, Lara Dutta and Katrina Kaif.
