Parineeti Chopra is busy promoting her upcoming movie Code Name: Tiranga which is slated to hit theaters on the 14th of October 2022. For the first time, she is doing an action film and has geared up a fierce look. Code Name: Tiranga will display Pari as a RAW agent who is on a mission for the nation’s pride. Excited about her first full-blown action film the actress says she is thrilled in the 11th year of her career.
Parineeti Chopra who has often delivered light-hearted films will be seen in a different look. So far she has appeared in Ishaqzaade, Hasee Toh Phasee, Jabariya Jodi, Golmaal Again, and more, in none of her films she played an action-packed role. Nevertheless, everyone has many firsts and 33 years old actress is happy about this first in her life.
Talking about her first action flick Parineeti said, “As an actor, we are constantly blessed to have many firsts all through our career. I’m thrilled that in my 11th year in cinema I’m doing my first full blown action film and I’m ecstatic about the reaction that I have been getting for Code Name Tiranga’s teaser. It is hugely encouraging for someone who has never dabbled in this genre.”
She continued, “The teaser is just a glimpse of what to expect from the trailer and my performance on screen. I have pushed myself and my body for this intensely physically challenging film but I have thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. I had always wanted to present myself in an entirely new way on screen with the action genre and I couldn’t have found a better film to do the same because it has allowed me to express freely and show audiences what I can do when presented with an opportunity like this!”
Code Name: Tiranga is helmed by Ribhu Dasgupta and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Reliance Entertainment, Film Hangar, and Vivek B. Agrawal. The actioner is presented by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series Film, and Reliance Entertainment. The film is scheduled to arrive in theaters on 14th October 2022.
On the work front, Parineeti will be next seen in Uunchai, alongside Anupam Kher, Amitabh Bachchan, and Boman Irani. In the kitty, she also has Capsule Gill opposite her Kesari co-star Akshay Kumar.
