Parineeti Chopra Goes On Social Media Detox In The Midst Of Lockdown; Here’s Why

Parineeti Chopra takes a break from social media in the midst of the nationwide lockdown. Read below to know why.

In the midst of the nationwide lockdown due to the novel coronavirus outbreak the Bollywood industry has come to a standstill and many shooting, as well as release date schedules of the upcoming films, have been indefinitely postponed. Meanwhile, all the B-town celebs have gotten very chirpy on social media platforms. The stars are using their social media to either spread awareness about the on-going global pandemic or to share their quarantine routine.

But as an exception, Parineeti Chopra has decided to take a break from social media and do a social media detox in the midst of the lockdown. The gorgeous actress said that she needs a little “me” time and hence she has decided to go on social media detox.

Parineeti took to her Instagram stories, to announce her break and to say that she will be back soon.

In the story, she wrote, “Gonna take a much needed detox from social media for a few days. Some me time is needed and important. See you all on the other side.”

The actress is currently self-isolating during the lockdown period at her home here, featured on the cover of a well-known wedding magazine for which she dressed up as a bride. She evens shared the adorable picture on her Instagram for which she got plenty of compliments.

On the work front, Parineeti Chopra will be next seen in Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar alongside her Ishqzaade co-star Arjun Kapoor. The film is helmed by Dibakar Banerjee and the film was slated to release on 22nd March but the release date got postponed due to the nationwide lockdown because of the novel coronavirus scare.
