Actor Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra welcomed a baby girl on Feb 15, 2020, via surrogacy. The couple had been trying to have a second child for five years and after failed attempts, they settled for surrogacy.
Today, their little angel has turned one-year-old. On the occassion, the family visited Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai to seek the blessing of Bappa.
Shilpa has named her daughter Samisha. Explaining the meaning of her name, Shilpa once wrote on Instagram, “‘Sa’ in Sanskrit is ‘to have’, and ‘Misha’ in Russian stands for ‘someone like God’. You personify this name – our Goddess Laxmi, and complete our family.”
