This 2013 film made by Umesh Shukla which was a mildly humorous debate between atheism versus religiosity had created a huge buzz and uproar back in the day and today when we see that the religious sentiment of each Indian is getting much stronger, a film based on does god really exist seems like a tricky question and also a dangerous choice and this news got confirmed by a member of the film’s core development team wherein he was quoted saying, “It is not a controversial subject like the first part. Biggest loss here is dropping Umesh Shukla from the film and even though the producers and makers were eager to have him onboard for sequel, but Umesh didn’t want to do more of same thing and confirming same, a source close to the director said, “The subject is too tricky and dangerous. Umesh wanted nothing to do with it”.
Amit Rai who directed the well-intended Road To Sangam in 2009 has been roped in to do the sequel.
