Recently popular Bollywood actress and dancer Nora Fatehi grabbed the headlines after she filed a defamation case against Jacqueline Fernandez for dragging her name into the Rs 200 crore money laundering case. Days after the controversy, Nora recently shared a cryptic message and stated that she wasn’t raised to take advantage of people.
Taking to her Instagram stories Nora took an indirect dig at Jacqueline Fernandez and wrote, “My parents didn’t raise me to take advantage of people, my intentions will always be pure. We ain’t the same,”
Nora Fatehi Files Case Against Jacqueline Fernandez
For the unversed, Nora Fatehi recently filed a defamation case against actress Jacqueline Fernandez. In the lawsuit, Nora claimed that Jacqueline collaborated with several “media houses” to circulate news and statements made against her during the Sukesh Chandrasekhar trial.
Nora stated in her lawsuit, “It has started to become evident that the aforementioned rivals being unable to compete with the complainant fairly in the industry have started to try and tarnish her reputation which would cause her loss of work and hence would open up greener pastures for her rivals in the industry,”
Jacqueline’s Lawyer Reacts To Nora Fatehi’s Accusations
During a conversation with E times, Jacqueline’s lawyer stated that the actress never had any intentions of defaming Nora and that she has the utmost respect for her, her lawyer stated that there must have been some sort of miscommunication. He said, “Quoting anybody’s reply, filed before an adjudicating authority, is a matter of the pure judicial proceeding,”
He added, “My client has no intention to defame Nora or for that matter anybody else. If Jacqueline is dragged to any legal court, she will respond legally to protect her own dignity,”
