Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos lauded SS Rajamouli’s RRR as the craziest thrill ride of the year
SS Rajamouli’s RRR starring Ram Charan and Jr. NTR has garnered enormous popularity. The movie has been a blockbuster earning approximately 1200 crores at the global box office. The extravaganza action film has received word of praise from audiences and celebrities around the world. The newest person to praise the masterpiece RRR is none other than Ted Sarandos, who is the Chief Content Officer and co-Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Netflix.
RRR is available online on streaming giant Netflix. The magnum opus completed 100 days since its release on 25th March and is still critically acclaimed after its OTT premier. The CEO of Netflix, Ted Sarandos, has called RRR the craziest thrill ride of the year and asked people to watch it on Netflix. He took to his Facebook page to pen appreciative words for the movie and the team.
He wrote, “If you have not yet checked out RRR on Netflix, you must. It is the craziest thrill ride of a movie you will see this year. (In Hindi with English subtitles) it is a blast”. Ted also shared a review of RRR by Rolling Stone magazine, and wrote: “Rolling Stone says, ‘Best and Most Revolutionary Blockbuster of 2022’. Now streaming on Netflix.”
RRR has completed 100 days on July 2 and to celebrate this occasion the makers created a new poster. The official social media account of the movie shared the new poster on its Twitter handle. The caption of the post read: “RRRIDING HIGHHHH….. 100 Days of #RRRMovie!!”
RRR is a fictional tale of two revolutionaries and their fight against British colonialists. The movie is a period drama set in the backdrop of the 1920s. The action film also portrays friendship and their strong bond and love. The role of revolutionaries is played by Ram Charan and Jr. NTR.
Apart from these two megastars of Tamil, the film also includes Bollywood superstars Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt. Directed by Rajamouli RRR was created at a budget of 550 crores. DVV Danayya of DVV Entertainment bankrolled and the script was written by Vijayendra Prasad.
