Bollywood actress Neena Gupta left for Mukteshwar soon after a lockdown was announced in Mumbai recently. Neena had spent her whole lockdown in 2020 amid the hills in Mukteshwar, Uttarakhand. And this time too, she plans the same.
Neena owns a beautiful house in Mukteshwar but feels that it comes to life with one thing. Neena said in a video that people often complain about the clothes drying on the line in her garden, in the backdrop of the picturesque view that the mountains offer. She added, “But I like it because it feels like home.”
She added, “Lekin main yeh maanti hoon ki jab tak kapde na sookh rahe ho, washing machine na khadi ho, tauliya na sookh raha ho, phir woh ghar, ghar nahi lagta hai. Pahad hai, sundar hai, lekin mujhe yeh kapde bhi bade achche lagte hain. Mere husband kehte hain ki yeh kya hai. But I like it because it feels like home.”
Neena is living with her husband Vivek Mehra in Mukteshwar, away from the chaos of metro city.
