Nawazuddin Siddiqui Says, “I’ll Shoot Myself If Someone Asks Me To..”

At the trailer launch of "Jogira Sara Ra Ra", actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui confessed that he can't keep doing the same roles.

Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui recently launched the trailer of his upcoming film “Jogira Sara Ra Ra”. At the launch event, Nawazuddin looked back at his acting journey and spoke about how he has progressed over the years. While interacting with the media, Nawazuddin said, “We learn every day. There’s a new experience with new people every day. There’s progress in your craft and your thoughts. If I talk about myself, I can’t act like I did 20 years ago because now I work with 20 years of experience. So, as you gain experience, your acting also changes. Maybe, I worked with a different approach back then and today I have a different approach. It may change in the future. You can’t stay constant forever. If someone tells me that he can make me a superstar but I have to keep playing a similar role, I would shoot myself, I swear. I would get bored very quickly. I would just leave acting and choose a different profession.”

He added, “So, I will keep experimenting in every film. Doesn’t matter if the film is made with Rs 1 budget, or 2 crore or 20 cr, and even if I get paid or not but if I get to experiment, till then I am alive. Otherwise, people can die even when they are living. So, this is the approach I have been developing these days. I recently did a film in Frankfurt. Would you believe that it was a unit of just 10 people? It isn’t a big film but there’s deep work involved. So I keep experimenting like this. Meanwhile, I am also doing a big-budget south film too.”
