Seeing a huge lapse and losing followers in their account, NSE then tried to do damage control in hopes of handling the entire situation by releasing an official apology to their followers for this inconvenience that happened due to them and also explained about the blooper saying that it was just an error on the agency’s side where their account had not been hacked. The apology statement by NSE read, “Today there was an unwanted post on NSE handle at 12:25 p.m. It was a human error made by the agency handling NSE account and there was no hacking. Our sincere apologies to our followers for the inconvenience caused”.
However, even after this apology many couldn’t get over it and also termed it as a perfect error. One twitterati commented, “Same guy handles social media for both NSE and Pinkvilla. Damn that’s two extremes of the spectrum”.
