In a shocking turn of events, not the actress but Nargis Fakhri’s sister Aliya Fakhri is making headlines for allegedly murdering not one but two humans. She has been arrested in Queens, New York on charges of murder and arson. The incident took place last month on November 2, where the lives of Edwards Jacob (35-year-old) and Anastasia Etteinne (33-year-old) were lost.
According to the Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz, Aliya allegedly set fire to the detached garage of Jacob’s home in Jamaica, leading to the victims’ death from smoke inhalation and burns. Authorities report that Aliya arrived at the scene early in the morning around 6 am, who was hear yelling at Jacobs, “You’re all going to die today” before setting the building into fire. This was noticed by a neighbour, who saw the garage was in flames and Anastasia run down stairs, soon after she went to rescue Jacobs who was sleeping upstairs but they tragically couldn’t escape from the home.
As per the reports, Jacobs was a plumber and a father of three who had ended his relationship with Aliya Fakhri about a year ago. However, according to his mother, Aliya continued to pursue him despite he tried to distance himself from her. She had also clarified that JAcobs and Anastasia were only friends and not romantically involved.

Shockingly, if Nargis Fakhri’s sister is declared to be guilty she will have to face a potential life sentence. She was remanded on November 27 and is scheduled to appear in court again on December 9, who has been indicted on multiple charges including four counts of first-degree murder and arson.
However, as per reports in NDTV, Aliya and Nargis Fakhri’s mother has denied the accusations insisting that Aliya would never intentionally harm anyone. According to information in multiple reports, she also said that Aliya had struggled with opioid addiction after a dental mishap which she believes may have led to her behaviour.
