Nagarjuna Reacts To Failure Of His Son Naga Chaitanya’s Laal Singh Chaddha

Nagarjuna reacted to the failure of Laal Singh Chaddha starring his son Naga Chaitanya alongside Aamir Khan

Nagarjuna is basking the love and success he is receiving for Brahmastra. The fantasy adventure film directed by Ayan Mukerji is receiving mixed reviews from the audience and critics. Brahmastra marks the debut of the South superstar in Bollywood. Nagarjuna reacted to the failure of Laal Singh Chaddha starring his son Naga Chaitanya alongside Aamir Khan. 

A month ago Naga Chaitanya made his Bollywood debut with Laal Singh Chaddha. Unfortunately, the film failed miserably at the box office barely earning Rs 129.58 crore. Aamir Khan made the Hindi adaptation of Forrest Gump with a budget of 180 crores. 

The Akkineni family is experiencing a bittersweet moment with the success of Brahmastra and the failure of Laal Singh Chaddha. The father son made an extended cameo appearance in Bollywood with Nagarjuna featuring in Brahmastra and a month ago Naga Chaitanya starred in Laal Singh Chaddha. 

When asked about how the family reacted to the success of Brahmastra and the lackluster performance of Laal Singh Chaddha at the box office, the Telugu superstar told news agency PTI, “It is a bittersweet moment. I wish it had worked good. But it happens, it is an experience.”

The Telugu superstar who is in the industry for over 35 years had beforehand cautioned his son Naga when he accepted LSC. He said, “When Chai told me he was doing this ‘Forrest Gump’ remake, I told him don’t expect to be recognised as a star. This will show you as an actor. And Chai said, ‘I want to be known as an actor also.”

Brahmastra: Part One Shiva managed to mint Rs 225 crore in gross box office collection worldwide in its first weekend. Amid the negativity on social media, the film received mixed reviews. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer film released in theaters on 9th September after years in the making.

Talking more about part one of the trilogy, helmed by Ayan Mukerji the film is backed by Dharma productions and Star Studios. South director SS Rajamouli presented the film in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
