After the grand success of Munjya, actor Abhay Verma is heard to join the starcast of Sidharth Anand’s next movie KING. Verma is said to perform alongside Shahrukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and SRK ‘s daughter Suhana Khan in this film in a pivotal role. The film will be directed by Sujoy Ghosh under the Red Chillies Entertainment production banner.
Reports from Pinkvilla claim that the script for the KING is locked. Makers have even decided on the locations to shoot the entire film in bits and pieces. A sources close to the King’s team informed the outlet that Abhishek Bachchan has been locked in by Sujoy, Anand and SRK himself to play the role of an antagonist to the king. Post the revelation, Munjya fame Abhay Verma was told to be joining the starcast where he will play a key-catalyst.

King is going to be an action-thriller movie. Although, peculiar details are still hidden inside and makers or insidered have yet not made any revelations beyond this. The source revealing the information also said that the excellent performance by Abhay Verma in Munjya, is reflecting in the kind of offers he is getting now. “He has bagged a key role in King alongside Shahrukh Khan and Suhana, and is excited into this tentpole feature film”, the source added further.
As the setup is all done, the film is expected to begin by November 2024, once all the actors are practically and physically ready for the action sequences will begin.
