Mumbai Saga First Look: Unveiling John’s First Look As A Gangster

John Abraham is all set to play the role of a Gangster in his upcoming movie, Mumbai Saga.

The makers have unveiled the first look of the actor from the film where the actor can be seen giving an intense pose with a vermillion mark on his forehead. This will not be the first time John is seen playing such roles. Earlier he had played the role of Manya Surve in Shootout at Wadala. After the first look was released, director Sanjay Gupta went on to write, “One of my favorite moments from MUMBAI SAGA. And of course, Mr. Abraham like never before.” John is seen wearing a Kurta-pyjama with an intense look on his face and a vermillion mark on his forehead. John seems to be very dedicated to his work after Sanjay Gupta revealed that in spite of suffering from an injury John kept shooting for the film. The filmmaker quoted,” He didn’t tell us about the injury and dived into an action sequence, in the process, aggravating it. The last two-week shoot has a lot of stunts so, we will resume after he’s completely recovered, sometime next month,”

The film is a period gangster drama set in the ’80s and is apparently based on some of the true events. The film will also have stars Emraan Hashmi, Suniel Shetty, Mahesh Manjeraker, Kajal Aggarwal and Prateik Babbar. Earlier Emraan’s look in a police uniform was released.

Speaking about the film, Sanjay Gupta said, “Not many know what made Mumbai the city it is today. It makes for a compelling story, which will make you go, ‘Oh my God!”.

The film will hit the theatres on June 19 this year.
