1. Gangubaai Kathiawadi (Exclusively on Netflix)

Blockbuster film ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ is now available on the OTT platform. The Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial film started streaming on Netflix on 26 April, two months after its theatrical release. The film is based on the book Mafia Queens of Mumbai by S Hussain Zaidi. The Alia Bhatt film charts the journey of Gangubai, who eloped with her boyfriend to become a movie star. Her boyfriend betrayed her and pushed her into prostitution. Post this, she became the owner of a brothel in the Kamathipura area of Mumbai and is also known to have contacts with politicians and underworld criminals. She soon came to be known as the Mafia Queen of Bombay and wanted to improve the living conditions of the women of her community.

2. Sharmaji Namkeen- Amazon Prime

This is Rishi Kapoor’s last movie where he portrayed the role of a retired professional whose knack for cooking made him an exceptional cook after retirement. The movie also stars Juhi Chawla in a pivotal role. However, after Rishi Kapoor’s death, Paresh Rawal stepped in to finish the late actor’s part. The movie is gaining immense love from the people.

3. Moonshot- Amazon Prime

This romantic comedy with a twist follows two college students as they join forces in order to be reunited with their significant others, embarking on a lively journey that takes them wildly off course.

4. Kaun Pravin Tambe – Disney+Hotstar
Directed by Jayprad Desai, the movie is a biopic that depicts the exceptional journey of the career of a right-armed spin bowler, Pravin Tambe. Starring Shreyas Talpade in the lead role, the story narrates how Tambe overcame all hurdles in life and became a successful cricketer. Pravin Tambe made his debut in IPL at the age of 41 playing for Rajasthan Royals and is still going strong at the age of 50.

5. Dasvi- Netflix

The movie is based on former Chief Minister of Haryana, Om Prakash Chautala, who was found guilty of a scam and served his sentence at Tihar Jail. Jailed under a tough cop, the uneducated politician decides to spend his time studying for high school, while his scheming wife has plans of her own.

6. 365, This Day- Netflix
Laura and Massimo are back and stronger than ever. However, Massimo’s family ties and a mysterious man bidding for Laura’s heart complicate the lovers’ lives. 365 Days: This Day is a 2022 erotic thriller film directed by Barbara Białowąs and Tomasz Mandes. Serving as a sequel to 365 Days, it is based on This Day, the second novel of a trilogy by Blanka Lipińska, and stars Anna-Maria Sieklucka, Magdalena Lamparska, and Michele Morrone. The film was released on Netflix on April 27, 2022, in Poland and in the United States.
