Search engine Yahoo has just released its annual list of the most searched celebrities of the year. And it won’t surprise you that late actor Sushant Singh Rajput topped the list. Sushant was found dead in June this year. His death invited attention from all over the world and his case trended online for many days.
On no. 2 is legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan who contracted Covid-19 a few months ago and was admitted to hospital for many days. However, he not only fought the disease but also came on screen with the 12th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati.
On no. 3 is Khiladi Akshay Kumar who made news for donating Rs 500 crore to PM Care funds, released his film Laxmii and flew to Scotland to shoot for his film Bell Bottom.
No. 4 most searched actor is Salman Khan which doesn’t come as a surprise. Salman has returned to host Bigg Boss show which is much popular amongst the audience. Salman also hit headlines for his charitable work during the pandemic and was also bashed after the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput.
On no. 5 and no. 6 are late actors Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor respectively who left for heavenly abode in April this year. Both of them passed away after losing the battle to cancer.
