I remember doing one of my earlier films with him as a director. His energy as a person was soft-spoken and he had twinkling eyes with a reassuring smile. The conversations he could hold on various topics. My time shooting Anthony Kaun Hain with him as our captain was a time of great learning”.
She also added, “I shot my first sync-sound film with him at a time when it was something only the top three biggest production houses were doing. But he wanted to get every element of the filmmaking process to perfection. And no compromise was made on the quality of the product. A man of immense energy who would have the time even after a long working day to address issues or just have a meal and be gentle with the cast and crew. You will surely be missed, Raj”.
