During an interview, Minissha told, “It is a family story. It deals with a serious issue in an entertaining fashion.”

Kutub Minar narrates the story of a remarkable father-son duo, where the latter suffers from a rare condition of having an abnormally large reproductive organ, called macro-phallus.

When asked about her role, the actress said, “I play a married woman in the film. She has her own sets of problems but becomes a support system for other characters.”

Sharing her experience of shooting the film, she told, “We were shooting at a place where there was no network. We got a digital detox. We just used to talk and read books and work. It was a beautiful experience.”

Kutub Minar got a special mention for Best Feature Film at The Berlin Indie Film Festival (BIFF) 2021. On this achievement, Karanvir Bohra said, “At the Film Festival when they saw it, they were surprised to see such a bold concept but still a slice of life kind of movie. It really came as a dream to us when the Berlin Indie Film Festival emailed saying you can download your certificate of victory. We thought this email would state ‘thank you for participating, better luck next time’, because you don’t really expect your film to be appreciated at the global level. But this time it happened to us and Kutub Minar was chosen amongst all the movies in Asia.”
