A couple of days back Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s wife Aaliya Siddiqui announced that she has filed a divorce against the actor. Aaliya made some shocking revelations against her husband and his family. She even mentioned that although Nawaz never physically did any harm to her, it was his family and especially her brother-in-law who put her through mental and physical torture.
Aaliya also stated although they have been married for 10 long years, things started to go down the hill since the first year of their marriage but she tried to keep it under wraps and handle it by herself. Post the news of Nawaz and Aaliya’s divorce broke out things have been growing by the day.

Aaliya in a statement said, “We were facing problems in our married life since the time we got hitched. Neither Nawazuddin nor his brothers know how to respect women. He used to only point out my mistakes whenever we talked. He even insulted me several times in front of others. He said, ‘When you don’t know how to speak, then you should remain quiet’. He never gave me the respect which a wife deserves in a relationship. I lost all my self-respect during our relationship.”
She also went on to accuse Nawaz of not paying much attention to their kids. She also reveals the couple has been living separately for almost five years. And the accusations are not stopping here. Rumors suggest that Mrs. Siddiqui has even more to accuse her husband of, including severe issues of trust and loyalty towards each other.
Apart from that Aaliya also admitted that she wants the sole custody of her two children. She further went on to say that it has been 3-4 months since Nawaz has met his children and they have gotten used to his this behavior and care less about it.
Well, it seems like Aaliya and Nawaz’s married life has fallen apart and there is no chance of amends.
