In his interview with TOI, Manoj Bajpayee revealed that his films have faced all sorts of bias.

Explaining himself, Bajpayee said, “As far as the star system is concerned, it has done more damage than good to the quality and content. Now the young stars are focusing again on the content. When the exhibitors and distributors start concentrating on stars what happens is the quality films and small films start getting step-motherly treatment. My films have faced this.”

Furthermore, Manoj Bajpayee added that prevalent star system should not in any way block for the emergence of a new talent in the industry.

The versatile actor believes that be it an OTT medium or cinema, people always find their stars. He says that the masses find their favourites and they become their stars.

On the work front, Manoj Bajpayee will next star in Mumbai Saga alongside Emraan Hashmi and John Abraham. He also has Satyameva Jayate 2 in his kitty after Mumbai Saga.
