Manoj Bajpayee Reacts To Criticism Of Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal: ‘Don’t Want To Watch..’

Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee recently opened up on the criticism and backlash faced by Sandeep Reddy Vanga's film, "Animal".

Actor Manoj Bajpayee has weighed in on the controversy surrounding the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal, which has faced criticism for several scenes. Many have voiced strong objections against various aspects of the film, particularly its portrayal of women, labeling it as “problematic.”

Manoj Bajpayee has responded to the film’s criticism during an interview with Pinkvilla. He stated, “I am very clear if many people disagree or don’t like a film, what’s wrong with that? The film is released, does its business, and moves on. The money goes into the producer’s pocket; let them take it; they invested in the movie.”

The actor then added, “If you don’t want to watch it, then don’t. If you disagree with something, it’s better not to watch it, but don’t create trouble for the movie. You will be only encouraging a bad notion by doing so, what if others hinder your work in the same way? There should be open discourse without calls for bans or protests.”

Manoj Bajpayee recently appeared in “Silence 2: The Night Owl Bar Shootout,” available on Zee5, and “Killer Soup” on Netflix. He is set to feature in upcoming films titled “Bhaiyya Ji,” “Despatch,” and “The Fable.” “Bhaiyya Ji” is slated for theatrical release on May 24, with IMDb describing it as a story of a man seeking revenge for injustices against his family. Additionally, Manoj will star in the third season of Raj & DK’s web series “The Family Man.”
