In a tragic turn of events, Malaika Arora’s father, Anil Arora, passed away on Wednesday in an apparent suicide. The 65-year-old allegedly jumped from the sixth floor of his Bandra residence around 9 a.m. Mumbai Police are investigating the incident. Reports indicate that Malaika’s ex-husband, Arbaaz Khan, was among the first to arrive at the scene. The police have examined CCTV footage from the building to investigate the incident, while a postmortem examination is underway at a hospital.

The police have stated that the motive behind the alleged suicide remains unclear, with no suicide note found. They have sent the body for post-mortem and are investigating the case from all perspectives. PTI sources report that while Malaika’s father did pass away this morning, it is being considered an accidental death rather than suicide. The family is in shock, as he had no known health problems.

Malaika Arora’s Father, Anil Arora’s Death

Reports have surfaced that Malaika Arora’s father, Anil Arora, allegedly jumped from the sixth floor of his residence on Wednesday morning. According to sources, Malaika’s mother, Joyce Arora, shared details of the incident in her statement to the police. She mentioned that Anil had a daily routine of sitting in the balcony every morning to read the newspaper.

On that particular morning, Joyce noticed Anil’s slippers in the living room, which prompted her to search for him in the balcony. When she didn’t find him there, she leaned over the edge and was horrified to see the building’s watchman shouting for help from below.

In her statement, Joyce revealed that although she and Anil had divorced, they had been living together again in recent years. She also clarified that Anil had not been suffering from any serious illness, apart from some knee pain he had been dealing with.
