The trailer of Maja Ma starring Madhuri Dixit was released earlier in the day. The makers unveiled the teaser yesterday giving some glimpses of the movie. Amazon Prime Video Originals Maja Ma tells the story of a middle-class family. The movie is set to release on 6th October exclusively on Prime Video.
Helmed by Anand Tiwari, Maja Ma is touted to be a family entertainer. The story revolves around Pallavi, played by Madhuri, mother of two kids of which one is ready to marry his girlfriend. The film will display complications in marriage when demons from Pallavi’s past pop up and breaks them apart.
Maja Ma is set against the backdrop of a traditional festival and Indian Wedding. This light-hearted movie is a thought-provoking drama. It is a warm story of a middle class family getting their son married to his NRI girlfriend. Things are not easy as the rich girl’s family agrees after much drama and Madhuri has to face her past.
The movie promises love, heartbreak, joy, and a lot of Garba and moreover an empowering role of Madhuri Dixit. Gajraj Rao will play Madhuri’s Husband while Ritwik Bhowmik and Srishti Shrivastava are two kids. Maja Ma also stars Dice Media star Barkha Singh, Rajit Kapur, and Sheeba Chaddha in lead roles.

On big screens, Madhuri was last seen in Kalank opposite Sanjay Dutt along with a stellar star cast. Majja Ma is directed by Anand Tiwari and written by Sumit Batheja. It is produced by Leo Media Collective and Amritpal Singh Bindra. Maja Ma will stream on October 6 only on Prime Video.
