Today, exactly 32 years back in the year 1989 on 27th January, the multi starrer hindi action and romance filled movie Ram Lakhan which had an ensemble and apt star cast of Madhuri Dixit, Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor in leading roles had released in the theatres and was a super successful film.
On this important occasion, the Dhak Dhak girl and Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit took to her official instagram handle and penned a sweet caption with a collage of two pictures in which one was a monochrome black and white picture and other was a recently clicked colourful picture in which all were seen posing together with smiles for this happy click.
Sharing this collage picture, Madhuri also penned a sweet caption for it that read, “Celebrating #32YearsOfRamLakhan & the wonderful memories we made while working on the film. Thank you for watching, enjoying & loving the hard work of the entire team”.
Wherein the original old monochrome picture shows Madhuri, Anil, Jackie, Subhash Ghai, Anupam Kher, Satish Kaushik and Gulshan Grover who were all sitting on a couch and posing together for the click.
Which is true since of course the black and white picture is from their shooting days which even has the entire film star cast including Dimple Kapadia, Rakhee, late Amrish Puri and Saeed Jaffrey.
In a recent interview with a leading indian newspaper publication, Jackie Shroff opening up on the success of Ram Lakhan had said that he “feels good to be associated with the film”. He was also quoted saying, “One word that comes to my mind, when I recall the film today is ‘Iconic’. It is one of the best films of my career. The film has all the masala in it. It has drama, romance, comedy, emotions, tragedy, affection and a lot more”.
