Bollywood queen Madhuri Dixit joined the viral trend and showed her moves to the remixed version of the song Mera Dil Yeh Pukare Aaja. The actress has become one of the first Indian celebrities to give her own spin on the viral song.
For the unversed, the remixed song, Mera Dil Yeh Pukare Aaja, was first made popular last month by a young Pakistani woman, Ayesha, who danced at her best friend’s wedding. However, Madhuri has often recreated viral trends of songs and the classic song, originally from the 1954 film Nagin, is the latest one.
The actress was looking stunning in a sheer beaded sari. Taking to social media, she shared a video of herself dancing to the viral song in her vanity van. The actress mostly sticks to the original steps of the trend, while adding her own twirls. However, Madhuri’s dance received mixed reactions with some fans praising her dance with a few calling out for copying someone else’s steps.
On the work front, Madhuri Dixit is currently appearing as a judge on the latest season of the dance reality show, Jhalak Dhikla Jaa.
