Lt. General Syed Ata Hasnain (Retd) Lauds Sidharth’s Movie Shershaah

Another important name from field of Indian army which is Lieutenant general Syed Ata Hasnain (retd) has lauded Sidharth's performance in Shershaah.

We all know that currently the excitement amongst netizens and fans of this charismatic and iconic bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra can be happy as even Lt. General Syed Ata Hasnain (retd) lauds Sidharth’s movie Shershaah.

Ever since the movie has been released digitally on renowned OTT streaming platform Amazon Prime Video in last week on 12th August 2021, undoubtedly in midst of all the fans giving rave reviews for the movie and acting even Lt. General Syed Ata Hasnain (retd) lauds Sidharth’s movie Shershaah.

The trailer had blown out our minds and now post watching this much awaited biopic based on life of PVC Vikram Batra that starred Sidharth Malhotra in leading role of the army officer and Kiara Advani in character of Dimple Cheema, only love and stellar reviews have been puring in from critics, netizens, bollywood industry and now in middle of all this unconditional love pouring in from all sections along with the unconditional and neverending fan love on all the social media platforms from past few days now, Lt. General Syed Ata Hasnain (retd) lauds Sidharth’s movie Shershaah.

Its true that this time around, Sidharth Malhotra’s portrayal of Captain Vikram Batra both in his professional and personal life has finally managed to leave all his fans and also audiences impressed and apart from them, even the trade analysts had said that Shershaah is Sidharth Malhotra’s best work.

Ever since the premiere of #Shershaah last week, love and appreciation has been pouring in for the team. Today, Lt. Gen (Retd) Syed Ata Hasnain who commanded the Indian Army’s 15 Army Corps in Kashmir praised Shershaah for its detailed research – from capturing authentic locations to depicting army ethics and behavior.

In a live chat with actor Sidharth Malhotra, Lt Gen. said, “The scenes that the film has shown of the Kashmir valley are very authentic. I have lived half my life there, but I’ve never seen such authentic scenes been captured. Simple things like army officers not revealing their sources have stood out in the film”.

He further added, “Some of the scenes that show the human aspect of a soldier are captured well. I hope that Shershaah sets a benchmark for other Bollywood films to make well-researched army films in the future”.

Applauding Sidharth’s performance, he told the actor “I would like compliment you for really getting under the skin of an army officer. I have seen many army-based films over the years but no one has got it so right”.

Amazon Original Movie Shershaah is jointly produced by Dharma Productions and Kaash Entertainment. The film has premiered across 240 countries and territories on 12th August 2021 exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
