It’s not a good thing for Akshay’s upcoming film which is the most eagerly anticipated movies of 2020 to be experiencing several road blocks and speed breakers from the time of its trailer release last month on 9th October 2020 where the film is always getting hugely embroiled in one problem or the other and has become controversy’s favorite child it seems. Now in the same league, latest update is that Laxmii producer Shabina Khan dismisses rumors of fall out with Akshay.

This is not the first time that a film is mired in  the hot waters and soup of controversies which are never ending as they don’t seem to stop. After the film’s title got changed to Laxmii, his fans thought that atleast now all will be fine but no then the rumors of his feud and war with film producer started making the rounds on the social media with half-baked and speculative blind items that got written about the same. But now during a recent interview with a leading digital Indian entertainment website for Laxmii’s film promotions, Laxmii producer Shabina Khan dismisses rumors of fall out with Akshay.

In the recent conversational chat interview with the leading Indian digital entertainment website for film promotions when she was asked about it, the Laxmii producer Shabina Khan dismisses rumors of fall out with Akshay.

She told, “It’s all crap. I don’t know who imagines all this. There has been no fallout ever. In fact, we were all on the same page that given the situation, we must put our film out to the viewers and in the best way possible. So when a digital release was being spoken about, every one of us agreed and the decision was taken”.

Further in the same interview, she also praised and applauded the Khiladi of Bollywood who is a versatile stellar performer that has been ruling the hearts of both the audiences and fans across the globe with some of his best path breaking career best performances in films like Gold (2018), Kesari (2019), Padman (2018) and so on.

Appreciating Akshay and lauding him for doing one of the most trickiest and career redefining roles that too of a transgender in the film she quipped that with Laxmii it will be their third super successful collaboration that would see Akshay in the most interesting and out of the box kind of a character till date.

She explaining the same point in detail also added, “Honestly, Akshay and I go a long way. This is our third film together and we are hoping it to be a hat-trick. It’s a very tricky role – not so easy for anyone to essay. But the way Akshay has played the role with the entire graph of the character, it’s commendable”.

Laxmii also starring Kiara Advani and Sharad Kelkar in key important roles and directed by Raghava Lawrence, who had also helmed the original Tamil film in horror comedy genre named Munni : Kanchana 2 back in 2011, will be releasing digitally in India at the globally renowned OTT streaming platform Disney + Hotstar on 9th November 2020 and is being touted as one of the biggest Diwali 2020 releases of this year.
