A day after Former IPL chairman Lalit Modi shared about dating the Bollywood actress and Miss Universe Sushmita Sen, his son Ruchir Modi reacted to his father’s relationship with the actress and said, that he won’t comment on personal matters as a family policy.

On Thursday, former IPL Chairman and businessman Lalit Modi created a storm over the internet as he announced his relationship with Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen, he also shared a series of pictures with Sushmita Sen on Twitter as he wrote, “Just back in London after a whirling global tour #maldives #sardinia with the families – not to mention my #betterhalf @sushmitasen47 – a new beginning a new life finally. Over the moon,” he wrote as he posted several pictures with Sushmita – from their recent holiday in Maldives and Sardinia along with some old ones. “Just for clarity. Not married – just dating each other. That too will happen one day,” he added in the next tweet.

Soon after his Tweet went down, the netizens flooded the internet with their reactions. Meanwhile, now the businessman’s son Ruchir Modi has also shared his reaction to the news. During an interview, Ruchir Modi finally opened up about his father’s relationship with the actress and said, “It is his life and his decision,”, he further said, “I prefer not to comment at all, to be very honest, as we don’t comment on personal matters as a family policy.”

Lalit Modi was earlier married to Minal Modi, who passed away battling cancer aged 64 in 2018. Ruchir Modi is one of Lalit’s two children, and Aliya is the other. Apart from Ruchir, Sushmita’s father Shubeer Sen also shared his reaction in an interview and said, “I don’t know anything about this. I spoke with my daughter in the morning but she didn’t say anything. I saw the tweet for the first time when you mentioned it to me. I don’t know what should I say when I don’t know about it.”

Earlier, Sushmita Sen reacted to the speculations about her marriage with an Instagram post as she shared a picture of herself with her daughters and wrote, “I am in a happy place!!! Not married…no rings…unconditionally surrounded by love!! Enough clarification given…now back to life and work!! Thank you for sharing in my happiness always…and for those who don’t…it’s #NOYB (none of your business) Anyway!!! I love you guys!!! #duggadugga #yourstruly.”
