The trailer of Aamir Khan’s much-awaited film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is finally out. The trailer was released during the first innings of the IPL 2022 Finals between Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals. Aamir Khan set the bar high for future trailer launch events as he unveiled Laal Singh Chaddha trailer while hosting IPL 2022 Final.

Aamir Khan plays an autistic man with a heart of gold and a positive attitude towards life. His expressions remind us of his character in PK while we can forgive him for his Punjabi accent as his character deals with autism. We have grown up watching Forrest Gump and the film is very close to our hearts. When Aamir announced this film, we had our doubts. But then, here’s Aamir Khan we are talking about who doesn’t take up a job until he aims for perfection. At several points, you’ll feel like you are watching Forrest Gump all over again, just set in Punjab. The shots are similar but the attempt is honest. Kareena Kapoor looks gorgeous as Aamir Khan’s love interest and reminds us of their chemistry in 3 Idiots.

Laal Singh Chaddha Cast:
Laal Singh Chaddha is the official remake of the classic American film ‘Forrest Gump’ starring Tom Hanks. The upcoming Hindi film features Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the leading roles. It also stars Telugu hero Naga Chaitanya in pivotal role with Shahrukh Khan making a cameo appearance. The film is directed by Advait Chandan and co-produced by Kiran Rao.
Laal Singh Chaddha Release Date:
Aamir Khan had announced that he purchased the remake right of ‘Forrest Gump’ in 2018. The film was initially scheduled to release in 2020. But due to Covid-19 and production delays, the film’s release was pushed several times. The film will now release in theatres on 11 August 2022.
