Laal Singh Chaddha Breaks A Record Of Tom Hanks’ Forrest Gump

Ahead of the release, Aamir Khan's remake film 'Laal Singh Chaddha' has already broken a record of the original American film 'Forrest Gump'.

Laal Singh Chaddha is one of the most talked about Bollywood movies of 2022. It is a remake of the American classic film Forrest Gump, which won six academy awards. Ever since the trailer of Laal Singh Chaddha was released, people have been expressing their opinions about the upcoming film. While some are quite curious to see Aamir Khan recreating Tom Hanks’ film, many people have expressed their displeasure over the same. The film is also facing a boycott trend ahead of its release.

Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha has already broken a record of Tom Hanks’ Forrest Gump. The Hindi remake is longer than the original film. Forrest Gump’s run time is around 2 hours 22 minutes. On the other hand, Aamir Khan’s film runs longer and is said to be 2 hours and 44 minutes long.

Meanwhile, the advance booking of Laal Singh Chaddha has already opened. It will clash with Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Raksha Bandhan on 11th August.

Recently, Bollywood director Ashutosh Gowariker watched Laal Singh Chaddha and shared his review on Twitter. He tweeted, “5 sta… no… 5 GOLGAPPAS for #LaalSinghChaddha !! LOVED the film AND – Aamir & Kareena’s performances, Atul’s script adaptation, and Advait’s direction!! CONGRATS to the entire Cast & Crew for a creating a NOBLE FILM!”

Laal Singh Chaddha features Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Naga Chaitanya. It is directed by Advait Chandan and produced by Aamir Khan Productions and Viacom 18 Studios.
