Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha Breaks Records In International Market
Aamir Khan’s recently released film Laal Singh Chaddha has apparently failed at the Indian box office, the film got brutally criticized by the critics and became a target of the viral boycott trend. While as per the latest reports are to be believed, Aamir Khan’s film has apparently broken many records in the international market.
As reported by Bollywood Hungama, the Aamir Khan starrer film Laal Singh Chaddha has apparently surpassed Alia Bhatt’s blockbuster film, Gangubai Kathiawadi to become the highest-grossing Hindi film of 2022 in international markets.
Apparently, Alia Bhatt’s film, Gangubai Kathiawadi earned a total of $7.47 million in the international markets, while on other hand, Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha has collected Rs $7.5 million by now. However, Anees Bazmee’s directorial and Kartik Aaryan starrer blockbuster hit Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 stands at the top of the list following it stands Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files, Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha and Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi.
Laal Singh Chaddha Earnings At Box Office
Aamir Khan’s film has earned a total of approx 56 crores at the box office till now, the much-awaited film was embroiled in a list of controversies even before its release. While as far as the box office figures are to be concerned, it is expected that the star-studded big budget film will now wrap up in the theatres with earnings around Rs 60-70 crore.
Advait Chandan’s film which was earlier expected to get an OTT release on Netflix is now getting no OTT buyers, after witnessing a terrible run at the box office. A source told Bollywood Hungama about how the Bollywood actor Aamir Khan wanted his film to get an OTT release on the streaming giant Netflix which has apparently backed out of the deal.

Laal Singh Chaddha is the remake of the American movie Forrest Gump. It features Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Mona Singh, and Naga Chaitanya in the lead roles. It is directed by Advait Chandan. The film is jointly produced by Aamir Khan Productions and Viacom 18. Laal Singh Chaddha was released in theatres on 11 August and clashed with Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan. One major reason for Laal Singh Chaddha‘s failure is the boycott trend amongst the Hindi audience.
