The entire nation is mourning the sad demise of Indian playback singer KK (Krishnakumar Kunnath). He passed away after performing at a live concert in Kolkata. The 53-year-old singer died of a heart attack on May 31.
Bollywood celebrities, cricketers, politicians and fans took to social media to express grief over KK’s demise. Recently, young actress Saiee Manjrekar was spotted along with her co-star Adivi Sesh at the special screening of their film ‘Major’. While interacting with the media, Saiee said, “It was very unexpected. My condolences to all his family members. We all have been very shocked.”
Speaking about her favourite song of KK, Saiee said, “There have been so many, but Pehla Pehla Pyaar.”
Adivi Sesh added that he was listening to KK’s song in his car.
Young and gorgeous diva Shirley Setia, who is all set to make her Bollywood debut with ‘Nikamma’, said, “I am extremely speechless because I still can’t believe that he is gone. He has been my most favourite singer.”
Her co-star and Bhagyashree’s son Abhimanyu Dassani added, “He was the voice of our generation. Gone too soon and we are going to miss him. We used to feel various things with his voice.”
Shirley added, “He’ll live through his music.”
