KK And Emraan Hashmi- The Magical Duo; Actor Pens Heartfelt Note

Emraan Hashmi recalls working with KK says a voice and talent like no other.

It is disheartening to digest the fact that singer KK is no more. Singer Krishnakumar Kunnath aka KK has rendered many musical iconic hits in the last three decades. The eminent singer KK was the best voice associated with Emraan Hashmi, both were synonyms for each other back in time. KK has been the voice 90’s kids have heard through all stages of life. Even now when one feels loved songs from the eminent singer are auto-played in the background.

KK has literally taught us ‘Zindagi do pal ki’ and made us realise ‘pal rahe ya na rahe kal’ and took ‘Alvida’ forever. His songs built love even in hopeless romantic, urging the person to question ‘kya mujhe pyaar hai’ to express love with ‘Zara Si dil me de jagah du’ to ‘Dil Ibadat’ and dancing on ‘I am in Love’, the list goes onnn. His prominent songs took our back in the breakup stage too from ‘tujhe sochta hoon’, to ‘beete lamhein’.

The legendary singer had lent his voice to numerous of Emraan Hashmi’s songs. Recalling the old era KK has sung almost every song of the actor. ‘Aaj bhi jab woh pal yaad aate hai’ it always meant “KK” when it comes to playing Emraan Hashmi’s songs. Can’t believe the magical lovely voice is no more, still feels like ‘Haan tu hai’. No doubt Emraan and KK were a magical duo and their combination never failed to woo us.

The Tum Mile actor had a heartbreak knowing the voice behind him from the late 90s and early 2000s is no more. He penned a heartfelt note for the singer on his Instagram account. Posting a picture of the prominent singer, the actor wrote: “A voice and talent like no other.. They don’t make them like him anymore. Working on the songs he sang was always that much more special. You will always be in our hearts KK and live eternally through your songs. RIP Legend KK #ripkk”

The Raaz hero also shared old clips of KK singing at the live concert in his stories. From ‘Tu hi meri shab hai’, to ‘Beete Lamhein’ KK’s songs were picturized for Emraan Hashmi. “Back to childhood days, I used to think that I used to think it’s #EmraanHashmi who’s singing while dancing. But it was legendary,” A fan wrote on Twitter.

Can’t believe that the soulful voice is no more among us and the vibe we had listening to his playlist will not be the same. May his soul rest in peace, all our prayers for the late singer.
