Bollywood actors Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal have received a death threat on social media. According to the Mumbai police, the newly married couple has been receiving threats on Instagram. A case against the unidentified man has been registered at Mumbai’s Santacruz police station. The investigation has already begun.
According to the reports, the accused was also stalking Katrina Kaif and threatening her.
The Santacruz police have registered an FIR against the unidentified person under Indian Penal Code Sections 506-II (criminal intimidation) and 354-D (stalking). A case under the IT Act has also been registered. The official said that no arrest has been made so far.
Katrina Kaif-Vicky Kaushal got married on Dec 9, 2021, after dating for a brief period. The royal intimate wedding took place in Rajasthan. Recently, the couple celebrated Katrina’s birthday in the Maldives. They were accompanied by Vicky Kaushal’s brother Suny Kaushal & his rumoured girlfriend Sharvari Wagh. Bollywood actress Ileana D’Cruz was also a part of the troop.
Recently, Katrina Kaif’s ex-boyfriend Salman Khan also received death threats. Salman’s father Salim Khan received a letter in a park which said that Salman would be killed just like Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala. Salman and his family were then provided additional security. It is said that Lawrence Bishnoi gang wanted to extort money from Bollywood personalities. Last week, Salman Khan met newly-appointed Mumbai Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar. As per the reports, Salman has also applied for a weapon license.
