Katrina Kaif Soon To Be The First Indian Female Superhero?

There were rumours floating around in the B-Town that Bharat director Ali Abbas Zafar had been working on a script revolving around a superhero. But here comes the twist in the tale, that the movie will be the first superhero film with a female lead. The Tiger Zinda Hai director who has been currently cooped up at his home in Dehradun had been working on two scripts amid the lockdown. One of the scripts is of the superhero film and it has been finalised.

The superhero film will have actress Katrina Kaif as the lead and she is all set to become the first Indian female superhero. Speaking of the same Ali Abbas Zafar said, “My next is a superhero film with Katrina (Kaif). Recently, I locked that script and it will go on the floors once the lockdown ends. I have completed the first draft of another film as well, and hopefully that script will be ready soon.”

The director added that they will rush for a recce once the situation normalizes. What is even more interesting is that Ali has work going on in full swing from home. He has been in touch with an international team for action scenes related stuff in the movie. 

Ali Abbas Zafar further revealed, “There’s a lot of prep required because of the kind of action involved and I am in touch with an international team over video calls. I’m also doing script readings with my actors and chatting with the production designer. There’s a lot happening.”

On the professional front, Katrina Kaif will be next seen Akshay Kumar starrer Sooryavanshi. The film was slated to release on March 24 but its release date now has been postponed pertaining to the COVID-19 crises in the country.
