Bollywood has been badly struck by COVID this time, earlier Prithviraj actor Akshay Kumar declared on social media after being tested positive for COVID -19, soon after which Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actor Kartik Aaryan also announced his COVID results on social media. Aditya Roy Kapur also tested positive because which promotional schedule of his upcoming film ‘Om’ has been affected. While now according to the latest updates actress Katrina Kaif and Shahrukh Khan have also tested positive for COVID.
Katrina Kaif has been gearing up for her upcoming flick Merry Christmas with Vijay Sethupathi last week, while now it seems the actress has to shut her plans for the time being. The actress also skipped IIFA 2022 ceremony, where her husband, actor Vicky Kaushal was declared the best actor for Sardar Udham. While according to the sources the actress has completed her quarantine time and she has also informed about the news on her social media. According to sources, actor Vicky Kaushal has also tested positive for Covid.
On the other hand, Shahrukh Khan has also tested positive, Shahrukh also has been gearing up for his upcoming movies Jawan, Dunki, and more. The actor recently shared the teaser of his film on his Instagram.
Now, due to the sudden surge in Covid cases, BMC has informed film studios located in the K-West ward of Mumbai, not to host or conduct any lavish parties in studios. For the unversed, the two actors had attended producer Karan Johar’s 50th birthday bash, and now there are reports saying that Johar’s party turned out to be a Covid hotspot. However, a source closer to Johar has dismissed it as a rumor. Around 50 people have been tested covid positive so far from KJo’s birthday bash.
