The entertainment industry is slowly getting back on its feet after a long break due to the lockdown imposed because of the coronavirus pandemic. Many filmmakers are resuming the shoots for the pending projects. Amid all this, filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar recently shifted to Dubai on a temporary basis. He alongside his crew is gearing up to work on the upcoming part-two of Katrina Kaif starrer superhero film. Speaking of the same, Ali Abbas Zafar confirms that Katrina Kaif has begun intense physical training for the film.
In the superhero film, Katrina is going to play the lead role. It is going to be India’s first female superhero film. The filmmaker adds that Katrina Kaif has begun intense physical training because she is keen to get in shape for the character.
In the interaction, Ali Abbas Zafar says that the shooting of the female superhero film will start in January 2021. As of now, Katrina has her dates booked and she is trying to wrap up her prior commitments.
Because of Katrina’s prior work commitments, the makers of the film had to push their shooting schedule a little ahead.
The reports state the majority of the film’s shooting will happen in Dubai. Currently, Ali Abbas Zafar and his team are stationed in Dubai.
Over there, they are working with an international team. The team is finding it difficult to travel in-and-out of India due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
On the work front, Katrina Kaif will share screen space with Akshay Kumar in Sooryavanshi. The Rohit Shetty film was slated to release on March 24, 2020, but it was postponed due to the lockdown measures.
As of now, the makers of Sooryavanshi won’t take an OTT route because they are wanting to release the movie in theatres.
